Terms of Service
Last updated 18 September 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Sportra app for iOS and Android, the Sportra Manager and Sportra Admin web portals, and the sportra.co website (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated in Pakistan by Finestra (SMC Private) Limited, The Koworking, Room VO-1, House A-205, J Block, North Nazimabad, Karachi (“Sportra”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account, making a booking, or listing a venue, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which form part of them.
Sportra currently operates in Pakistan. Prices are in Pakistani rupees.
1. What Sportra is
Sportra is a sports marketplace with social features. It connects players who want to book and play with venue partners who operate sports facilities, and lets players find each other, form teams, organise matches and send invitations. The venue provides the facility and is responsible for it. Sportra provides the platform through which facilities are found, booked and paid for, and through which players connect and play together.
Sportra is not a party to what happens at a facility. Turning up, playing safely, and following the venue’s own rules are matters between the player and the venue.
2. Eligibility and your account
The Service is available to users of all ages. Users under 13 should use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. Where an account is held by a minor, the parent or guardian is responsible for the account’s activity and for any payments made through it, and any card or bank payment must be made by, or with the permission of, an adult.
You must give accurate and current details when you sign up, including a phone number you can be reached on, and keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials to yourself and for everything done under your account. Tell us at hello@sportra.co straight away if you think someone else has access to it.
One person may hold one account. Venue partner staff are invited by their organisation and act on its behalf.
3. Bookings
Making a booking. A booking is made when payment for it succeeds. If payment fails, no booking is made and nothing is charged.
Availability and prices. Venue partners set their own facilities, opening hours, blocked times and prices. We do not guarantee that a facility will be available when you try to book it, or that a venue’s listing is accurate.
Cancelling and attending. Whether a booking can be cancelled, and what is refunded, is set out in the Refund Policy. If you do not turn up, the booking stands and no refund is due.
4. Matches
Open matches. A host creates a match at a facility and invites players or accepts join requests. Each player pays their own share of the facility price plus the platform fee. Your share is held from your wallet when you join, and the held shares are used to make the booking when the host finalises the match.
Leaving and cancelling. Whether a held share is returned when you leave a match, or when a match is cancelled, is set out in the Refund Policy.
Hosts. As a host you are responsible for organising the match honestly, for the players you accept, and for finalising or cancelling it in good time.
5. Prices, fees and taxes
Venue price. The venue sets the price of a slot.
Platform fee. Sportra charges a platform fee on top of the venue price. It is shown before you pay and is included in the total you are charged. Where the law requires, sales tax on the platform fee is included in that fee. We may change the platform fee for future bookings; a change never affects a booking or match you have already paid for.
Currency. Amounts are charged in Pakistani rupees and shown at checkout.
6. Payment methods
Card. You can pay for a booking, or top up your wallet, by card through our payment gateway. Your card details are entered directly with the gateway and are not stored by Sportra. A payment is complete when the gateway confirms it.
Wallet. You can pay for bookings and match shares from your Sportra wallet balance.
Bank transfer. You can top up your wallet by bank transfer to the account we show you, then upload an image of the transfer receipt. We verify transfers manually and give no guarantee of how long that takes. The wallet is credited only after verification, and the amount credited is the amount we actually receive. If we cannot verify the transfer, nothing is credited.
By making a payment you confirm that it is legitimate and authorised by the cardholder or account holder. If a payment is found to be fraudulent, disputed or reversed by the bank or card issuer, we may reverse the booking, top-up or credit it funded, and recover any resulting shortfall from your wallet.
7. Wallet
Your wallet holds prepaid credit in Pakistani rupees that can be used only for bookings and matches on Sportra. It is not a bank account or electronic money: it earns no interest, cannot be transferred to another user, and cannot be used anywhere else. The balance comes from top-ups you make and from refunds we credit.
- Top-ups are subject to the minimum shown in the app.
- Wallet credit is not paid out automatically. You can ask us to transfer unspent credit to your bank account as set out in the Refund Policy.
- If we close your account for breaking these Terms, any balance may be forfeited.
8. Venue partners
If you list a venue, the following also applies to you and to the organisation you act for.
Approval. New organisations and venues are reviewed by Sportra before they go live, and we may approve or reject them at our discretion. Once live, we may suspend an organisation or venue only where these Terms are broken, where it poses a risk to users, or where the law requires it. Suspension does not affect payout of earnings already accrued unless we suspect fraud.
Your listings. You are responsible for the accuracy of your organisation, venue, facility, price and availability details, for honouring every confirmed booking, for the safety and condition of your facilities, and for holding the licences, permits and insurance your local law requires.
Staff. You can invite people to your organisation as owners, managers or staff. You are responsible for what they do on the platform.
Payouts. Your earnings accumulate in your venue wallet and are paid out to the bank account you register with us on the schedule we set, less any tax we are legally required to deduct. The tax treatment depends on the registration and filer details you give us, and you are responsible for keeping those accurate. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or unverified bank or tax details.
Platform access. Access to the Service for venue partners may be subject to a subscription or platform agreement with Sportra. If a subscription lapses, your venues may stop accepting new bookings until it is renewed. Where you have signed a separate agreement with Sportra, that agreement prevails over these Terms if they conflict.
Refunded bookings. You are paid only for bookings that go ahead. When a booking is refunded for any reason under the Refund Policy, the venue price for it is reversed from your venue wallet.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable law;
- impersonate anyone, create a false identity, or hold more than one account;
- harass, abuse or harm other users or venue staff;
- upload content that is offensive, harmful, defamatory or infringes anyone else’s rights;
- start bookings or join matches to hold slots or places you do not intend to use;
- use a card or bank account you are not authorised to use, submit fake or altered payment receipts, or attempt to obtain refunds or chargebacks you are not entitled to;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure;
- scrape, overload, interfere with or disrupt the Service.
We may suspend or permanently close accounts, organisations and venues that do.
10. Your content
Content you upload (profile photos, cover images, team and venue images, receipts, support attachments) remains yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store and display it as needed to run the Service. Profile, team and venue images are publicly accessible; see the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for what you upload. We may remove content that breaks these Terms without notice.
11. Our content
The Sportra name, logo, software, interfaces and content are owned by the proprietor of the Sportra app and licensed to Finestra (SMC Private) Limited to operate the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
12. Third-party services
Card payments are processed by our payment gateway under its own terms. The Service also relies on the providers listed in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.
13. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is”. We work to keep Sportra available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the actions of other users, for the quality, safety or legality of any venue or facility, or for any injury, loss or damage that occurs at a facility.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, for any loss arising from a booking or match being cancelled or refunded, or for any loss of earnings, except where caused by our error in handling your funds. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid through the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify Sportra against any claim, loss or cost arising from your breach of these Terms or, for venue partners, the operation of your facilities.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
14. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time from the app. Records linked to other users and to payments are retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close your account, organisation or venue if we believe you have broken these Terms, if your activity poses a risk to other users or to the platform, or where we are required to by law. We will tell you unless we suspect fraud or a risk to others.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
16. Changes
We may change the Service, its features and its fees at any time, and we may update these Terms. When we update them, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
17. Contact
