Refund Policy

Draft. This document has not been reviewed by legal counsel and is not yet binding.
This policy explains when a booking is refunded and how the money comes back to you. It forms part of the Terms of Service.
Refunds are always in full
When a refund applies, you get the whole amount you paid. Sportra does not issue partial refunds and does not keep a share.
Refunds are credited to your wallet
Refunds are paid into your Sportra wallet rather than back to your card. Wallet credit does not expire and can be used for any future booking.
Paying back to a wallet lets a refund land immediately, rather than waiting on a card network, which matters when a match falls through hours before it was due to be played.
When a refund is issued
The match does not fill. If an open match is cancelled because it did not reach the players it needed, everyone who paid is refunded.
The venue cancels. If a venue cancels a confirmed booking, everyone who paid for it is refunded.
We cancel. If we cancel a booking because of a fault on our side, you are refunded.
When a refund is not issued
You do not turn up. A confirmed slot that goes unused is not refunded, because the venue has already held the court for you.
You cancel late. Cancellations are subject to the notice period shown on the booking. Cancelling inside that window is not refunded.
Venues may set their own notice periods. The one that applies is shown before you pay.
How long it takes
Wallet credit appears as soon as the cancellation is processed. You will see the transaction in your wallet history.
Disputes
If you think a refund has been handled wrongly, write to hello@sportra.co with the booking details and we will look at it.
