This page lists the cookies and similar browser storage Sportra uses, and what each is for.
Strictly necessary
These are required for the service to work and cannot be switched off.
Authentication. When you sign in to a Sportra portal we set access and refresh tokens as
httpOnly cookies, named per product so a consumer session and a manager session stay separate.
httpOnly means scripts on the page cannot read them, which limits the damage a cross-site scripting
bug could do. They are removed when you sign out.
Security. We rate limit requests by IP address to prevent abuse. This does not require a cookie but is mentioned here for completeness.
Analytics
This website sets no analytics cookies. Traffic measurement here is cookieless: it counts page views, referrers and loading performance in aggregate, and does not identify you or follow you between sites.
In the Sportra apps and portals we use product analytics to understand which features are used and where people get stuck. That is aggregate usage data. It is not used to build advertising profiles and we do not sell it.
What we do not use
Sportra does not run advertising cookies, and we do not share browsing data with ad networks.
Controlling cookies
Every browser lets you see the cookies a site has set and delete them, and lets you block cookies altogether. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in.
Changes
If the cookies we use change, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
